2 of the gtx 580 are going to more powerful than the 670.
But they will also consume more power and give off more heat.
I'd buy a 670 now and wait for the next generation to arrive. At that point, buy another 670 as the price will drop.

If you can get 2 580's for the price a 670, than I'd go for that. Heat is a factor though as is vram in some cases.

Definitely buy the one with the pair of 580's. That is a much better pc all around. Unless you're gaming above 1080p then you will see better frame rates than the 670 as well. Pretty good price for a prebuilt actually.

Yeah GTX 580 SLI with core i7 3770k for USD 1600. thats a pretty decent deal. which brand PC is it. Whats the warranty period like.
