August 2012 Foldathon - August 20th - 22nd - Creutzfeldt–Jakob Disease (CJD) - Page 10

Welp... I can do 4.5Ghz folding at 1.24v (I feel like not breaking 50C folding is not hot enough : p), so maybe I'll mess around tomorrow and see what I can pull off below 1.45... thinking around 4.8-9ish? maybe?
Thanks for the advice, derick thumb.gif

What's with all the scaredy-cats? Intel says 1.52V is fine, I ran 1.54V on my 2500K months on end with no issues (temps never broke 65C). headscratch.gif

Link me to where Intel said 1.52 is fine.

From general consensus I've gathered: 1366 = 1.5, 1155 = 1.4, 2011 = 1.45.

I've discovered a way I might be able to fold in the foldathon!

Only problem is it would require giving my brother the password for my rig so he can turn it on. mad.gif

What should I do?

I don't know if it works the same, but I told my brother to turn my pc on every day when I was on holiday. The pc was password protected, but the programm was running (wmcenter tv recording) without entering the password.

Another option is if you have internet access, you can control your pc with teamviewer

Both PC's have to have Teamviewer though don't they?

Also I don't think the rig will fold unless you put the password in.

Thanks for the advice. thumb.gif
