Total Shogun 2 ... unplayable in 7000 series cards. - Page 2

I had a lot more crashes after Fall of the Samurai was released. It would crash right after the Sega logo or crash before the main menu. My game is fine now, but I do not recall what fixed it for me. I do have a 6970 though so not a 7000 series.

Try running all the files in the redist folder of Shogun 2. You may have to run that Flash player security exemption files.

Did not change a thing. I tried the things mentioned and it still goes back to the desktop as soon as the movie starts playing. I can get back into it no problem... I played the whole sea tutorial and had no issues with going back to the desktop.

I'm wondering if I am not getting better performance because of drivers...? I can get like 200 fps average in the benchmark, but in game during the sea tutorial... it hung around high 40s and mid 50s. That is with crossfire enabled too.

Does DX11 vs 9 look that much different?
