Which 3DTV

Thread Starter
Hey everyone, I am looking at getting a 3DTV (not really for the 3D, but just the other features) here coming up soon. I was looking at 2 TV's and I know name brands are more expensive but I was looking at the Samsung 46" 7100, or the Sony 46" HX750.

Was wondering if you all had any opinions on these 2 TV's or any other suggestions. Max budget is $1500.

I am looking for picture quality, as well as functionality. I will have everything plugged into a Denon 1612 A/V Receiver, so HDMI ports isn't really a necessity. Will be watching mostly HD channels.

i have the 7100 and i love it, really slim bezel and amazing picture quality.

with Allshare im able to stream just about any file from my pc to the tv wirelessly there are only a few that are not supported. i have no problem streaming a 1080p 3d movie from my pc.

also Samsung smart tv's have more apps then all other smart tvs plus its a dual core so you can multitask like on Hulu plus i can have a video playing in the corner while searching for another video.

i honestly havnt researched many other TVs especially not any Sony's but both of my uncles have high end Samsung smart tv's and i fell in love with its multimedia capabilities not to mention how amazing it looks

Do you suffer from any input lag on that 7100?
