Nice. I can't imagine needing that much space, but I know others do.

I am going to look into Disparity. Since WHS 2011 had drive extender removed I was looking for something else to use as a multi drive backup with different size drives.

Thanks! I definitely would give it a look, it's the most user friendly system of them all, can't really mess anything up from what I've seen, I believe it even supports adding network drives to parity protection as well if you're interested.

There are already people doing all ssd-servers now. Just ask DuckieHo. servers, builds, you name it.

If possible I could set it up as a SSD or two in there and then a few HDDs as storage. Wouldnt completely be RAID but whatevs.

Just media/music I've purchased/ and ripped over the years, as well as tens of thousands of DSLR RAW files, video and other assorted files. I've pretty much kept every file I've ever had since I first owned a PC some 15 years ago.
