Purchased tanks yield better money in victories, allowing you to play your higher tier tanks without losing cash. You can pay to convert experience off of maxed out tanks to your better ones to improve them. You can buy premium ammunition that has better penetration, sometimes upwards of double the penetration. You can buy a premium account which lets you level faster and get silver faster than a normal player. You can pay to play with more than 1 friend at once. Think that about covers it.

EDIT: That's not to say I don't like the game, but I find that absurd to say the least. Pay for aesthetics and stuff? cool. Pay to get ammo that can 1 shot same tier tanks consistently? not cool.

I see your point, tbh I mainly play in pubs for fun as I find it an enjoyable game, I will have to spend real cash soon for gold rounds but they will be only for clan wars. To earn the xp/silver I just use my StugIII as it doesn't feel like a grind as its my fav tank anyway.

Anyway, if you see Krahe_MkII in game give me a yell. thumb.gif

Yea, my highest tanks are Tier 5. Rocking SU-85B (just about tier 5, 1k xp to go), Grille, M4 Sherman, ELC AMX at the moment. Gold rounds are easy to spot though... KV-1 hits you from half way across the map and one shots your M4 Sherman with a shot to the front... rage. LOL

It really isn't terrible though. Most tanks don't get a HUGE advantage from pay to win shells... if the player is anywhere near decent you're screwed though haha

You can make gold from clan wars though; thus making all those things that you can do with money also for free. I would agree with you that it truly encourages pay to win. I don't have a problem with the tanks since they're not top tier but premium account for one month is too expensive and gold rounds can be too much of an advantage.

It is the exact same price as pretty much any other subscription based MMO out there. I wouldn't say it is to expensive, if you don't have a decent job or not able to afford it due to family issue then I can see this being the case. But overall if you have played any standard MMO in the past, it is the same price.

Yea but its not a standard MMO, its a moba with tanks or arena with tanks. I don't think the $15 a month is justified by the content therefore I think its to expensive. I have put some money into the game and I'll probably put a little more but once I hit the standard price of a normal game I'll stop because as fun/good as it is, I don't find to be worth more then that. Maybe if they lowered the monthly expense to something like $7.99, where I think the games value is closer too, I would continue to pay to play.
