PANICKING! Earphones on Cable Box -Ruined?

Simply put, will putting my earphones on a cable box ruin them? Just bought a pair of harman/kardon AEs, and mistakenly put them on the cable box for a short pediod of time. Maybe 10 seconds, don't exactly remember how long. Will it have ruined my AEs? Quite panicking now, so need help. And I bought these here in the US, and will I be able to get a repair in S.Korea because I'm going back home (S.Korea) tomorrow?
