Need a PSU. Help!

Thread Starter
Hey everyone im on the hunt for a new PSU as the 550W Mushkin bit the dust ( I know it wasn't the best PSU but it served me well for 6 years) I don't have a huge budget on this since it happened at a very bad time for my pocketbook so im in about the 60-80 dollar range. Im not after super fancy but modular cables are a must. I was looking at this guy (newegg) its at the top of my budget but the reviews are sound and its based on a seasonic psu. I want to know what other psu's are out there that are any good?

Go for a Rosewill Capstone 450 or 450-M, much better than the Silencer MKIII and similarly priced.

Im not sure if 450w will work for my system. I have a lot of peripherals in the system.

My Seasonic 620W M12II was 80 when I bought it. It runs great as well.

A high end unit like the Capstone will comfortably suffice... but if you'd feel better with a higher output unit, the 550W Capstones should still fit your budget.
