I like the feel of this mouse, and love the fact that it stores macros in internal memory, giving it advanced functionality through plug-and-play, once configured.
My primary desire is to enable horizontal scrolling on the mac. This can either be done by giving directional scroll input to the OS, which is hard to do, or by holding shift while using the scroll wheel.
However, I cannot figure out how to set the mouse to "hold shift down while button 4 is down, and release shift when button 4 is released." I can get it to do a single keypress, or to hold shift down forever, but not what seems like an obvious option, the above behavior.
I have settled on setting one button as "shift on" and another as "shift off," but was wondering if there were other options. Thanks.
