Is this RAM as good as the Newegg reviews claim? It sounds pretty fantastic and I might pick up a set.

Yes! Overclocks nicely, lower voltage and is a slim profile to fit under those large HSF.

And looking at newegg, out of 45 reviews, 44 of them are 5 eggs......someone must have miss clicked. thumb.gif

Not necessarily the best price on RAM, but this is quality memory that will overclock like a beast. You can easily hit 2000Mhz+ with not too bad of timings with this at 1.65V.

...and some will go way past that, too.

Fellow OCN member sin0822 just posted screenshots of 2600 at 10-12-12-25 1T with a new BIOS from Gigabyte for the Z77 chipset in this thread over at XS.

Those are better clocks/timings than the kits that sell for $80-$100 for are getting, such as the GSkill Trident X 2400 C10. Granted, not everyone of these kits will hit those levels, but still, these are pretty good stuff for the money.
