A friend is upgrading his motherboard and I have offered to take his used Asus Maximus IV Gene-Z LGA 1155 Intel Z68 mATX off his hands. It's in good working condition, it's run an i5-2500k @ 4.6ghz @ 1.350v for all of it's existence. What's a fair price? Thanks in advance.

Those ASUS ROG boards are excellent and last forever. Looks like the micro ATX boards are going for $155 new, I would say $90-$95 in good condition.

Well newegg is $190 new WITH rebate to $155, their open box is $128. Personally I would list for $120shipped and go down to $100 as a bottom price. Motherboards last forever and these are as good as it gets for matx builds.

Guys theres 2 versions of this board and the prices you find on newegg are the new revision with pci express 3.0... but I've been seeing the one without 3.0 selling for around $100 +-$10
