Best Earbuds(sound quality)

What are the best ears bud you have owned...I have owned many and by far my favorite are the S4's from Klipsch. Now I am back in the ear bud market wondering if i should get the S4 image or S4 reference... also are their better ear buds in the ball park within 50 bucks?

I like skullcandy buds, particularly the fmj buds. I doubt many here will agree but I would like to hear their opinions on buds in that pricing area.

Best I've owned? Um...my Westone UM3X RC that's in my ears right now? Otherwise, my Sennheiser IE80.

In the $50 range, there's a lot of variety but if you really enjoyed the S4's sound, both the Image S4 and the S4 Reference are about the same...the Reference just has a different cable.

You can find the GR07's in that price point easily. I thought you meant sub 50 dollars. You COULD find the S4's for sub-50 dollars easily. I see it on sale for 40-45 all the time. Between CL and Ebay easy to find them that price.

That said on ebay you can get a pair of GR07's for 150.

Also, for 10 dollars more you can get some Ultimate Ears TripleFi 10s.

I use the SE315s. Got mine on sale at Guitar Center for $175. The SE215s sound great too.

I love my Senn IE80's and AKG K3003i's..... biggrin.gif

Headphones? My favorite that I've ever owned are my Senn HD700s. Cant beat the wonderfullness, but you could probably beat that price tag.... >.>

Easy to beat that wonderfulness actually. High end Sennheisers are pretty colored and unbalanced as far as headphones go. That goes for most Sennheisers now that I think about it other than the HD600.
