Just showing some love for Logitech

My g500 has been acting weird with the mouse wheel and the left main button recently and I searched all around the house for the box and the receipt but I couldn't find it anywhere, I decided to take a chance and hit them with a customer ticket.

They gently proposed me to take picture of the mouse with the number of the ticket on a piece of paper and send it to them to confim my ownership of the mouse.

They are sending me a brand new one free of charge.

Logitech have a very good customer service, I would opt for them for your gaming components folks, not many companies would be ready to do that.

Logitech++ in my programmer's heart thumb.gif

Have a nice day folks.

Yeah they've been doing this for years. Had a G9X ship to me after my G9 developed doubleclicking. Love Logitech and Roccat for their support!

Roccat did one better than logi, although i suspect its a one time thing. I had a Kone v1 with the faulty wheel. It broke and the store i got it from refused to replace it, saying i forcefully broke it.

Well contacted Roccat - got a brand new Kone, Taito mousepad, Apuri cord holder and usb port thingy and a roccat sota mousepad.

Love companies that care!

For once, us customers are a priority !
I'm pretty sure Madcatz/R.A.T wouldn't do that. That's a cheap company ... They are even pricier than the good brands.

Wish they did it with keyboards. I have a G19 that had one of the led's burn out a month after buying it. They wanted me to send the keyboard to them ups, then wait 7-10 business days to evaluate if it met the requirements for a replacement and then they would send me a replacement (the keyboard is still in warranty mind you). So about 3 weeks without a keyboard, just to fix or replace their faulty keyboard... yeah, not very cool. Especially when it's a $200.00 flagship model keyboard.

I just shelfed my g500 for a death adder, but for the first time in my life I replaced a mouse because I wanted a better sensor because im getting into more shooters. The g500 has lasted me a year and a half without so much as a hiccup the acceleration just became aggrivating so i made a switch. I commend logitech on its quality , my g510 is 2 years old and works like the day i got it (no space bare issue). And if this death adder lasts less than a year like my past razer mice i am returning to logitech again and never leaving them haha.

I don't like the way you hold razer mouse, it feels weird I don''t know why xD

I tested 5000+dpi and to be honest, I play shooter with barely 1500dpi lol

DPI does not matter really. Its the combination of dpi and in game sensitivity. I, for example, play at 800 dpi, but the best way to tell someone, so they get a feeling of your sens, is by telling them a distance for a 360 degree turn.

I need about 40cm (15.75inches) for a 360 in game.
