Quick question about type of DVI cable I need

Thread Starter
My GTX 460 uses dual-link DVI-I, and HDMI.

I want to connect one monitor via HDMI and another monitor via DVI.

The second monitor I have uses DVI-D, so I think a DVI-D cable should work in connecting my graphics card to my second monitor, right?

My question is, do I need a dual link DVI-D or a single link DVI-D?

Thanks for your help thumb.gif

First monitor is 1920x1200
Second is 1920x1080

Will a DVI-D dual link also work? That is the cheapest I can find.

Definitely. Dual link cables can be used for both applications.
