Does ECS P965A OC at all?

Hi all,

Because of the cheapness of ECS boards comparing to others, i'm actually considering buying one. I know that it's bios has very limited OC options. However, is there any way to use these limited setting to achieve some kind of OC? For example, if I get the E6300, is there anyway to run it at 333 FBS rather than 266 on this board and get it stable? I'm not looking for a huge overclock.

Thanks all,

Yiran

Well there known for there ability to not be able to OC. I very much doubt you would get far at all. Especially at 333FSB.

Well I'm thinking about buying an ECS with E6300. If I can increase the FSB to 333 and still use the multiplier at 7, then I would have something running at 2.33 GHz and that's good enough for me (1.86 just feels so low for such a good processor). If the system can handle that, then i'm satisfied...
