Gif won't work with movie maker?

My gif will play the animation in windows media player but not with movie maker. How do I get it to work?

"Movie Maker" really narrows down what program you are using considering there are tons of video editing programs out there. If you are talking about Windows Movie Maker, then I don't think you can. I had that same problem.
