I've got a pair of Xeon X5460 chips, 3.16ghz, 12MB L2 Cache (2x6MB), 1333mhz FSB. Code on them is SLANP. They're 45nm chips. These are the fastest LGA771 chips available. What do you think I can sell them for as a pair, vs separately? Thanks.

They were pulled from a PowerEdge 2950 Mk III server that I bought. Fully tested and functional.

They still go for 611 euro's here in the netherlands which seems to be ~750 us dollars,
but as its an old platform, and with no knowledge of pricing and aging stuff,
i would say try 400~500 us$ or someting and 900~1000$ for the pair.

if im totaly of with this someone else will probably jump in and tell you some more

unfortunately these 771 have really dropped in value.. your probably looking at $90 shipped each or about $180 for the pair.. maybe even less if you check what they go for on sites such as ebay.

These would be great in a skulltrial board. Im going to say around $145-155 shipped for the pair.

I would shoot for 200 each, maybe take 20 off for the pair. good chips I wouldnt mind them for me server, it would certainly be a lot better than the 1.8ghz that I have across 8 cores (chips) although it would probably require a new PSU
