"Grain of salt"? We talking sea salt? Table salt? Fine grind? Kosher? I'm just poking at you a bit...salt ranges a lot, so it would be better to reference something a little more consistent in it's varieties.

Anyways a "bb" size or a grain of rice (standard white long-grain)

yea...listen to what the problem was....there are two power leads going into the monsoon..one for the fan. and one for the peltier cooler...well, the one going to the pelteir was out of the molex sleeve, dangling by itself....plugged it back in some random way, now temps are icy cold again.
