Ivy actually produces less heat than SB and your first gen i7. So it wouldn't heat up your room as much, even when it is 90C. Heat is not Temperature. They are two different things.
It is very unlikely an Ivy Bridge chip @ 90C would heat up anything as many people have reported their heatsinks to be much cooler to the touch even while running their chips @ 80-90C than SB.
