I've got mine at 4-4-4-12, 900 mhz, 2.1v

I've had them at 5-5-5-12, 1000mhz, 2.15v

And 4-4-3-10, 800mhz, 2.1v

Probably could push them further, good memory

Depends on if you got the batch using D9GMH or if you got the ones using Promos

Quote:
With the Corsair 6400 C4's, if it's v1.x it should be D9's, if it's 2.x it's probably Promos, if 5.x or 6.x it's probably Infineon's (I think 5.x or 6.x would be more the C5's though, I had a pair of these, Infineons and didn't oc that well). Happy trails!!

What is better...

1:1 FSB = 360MHz : RAM = 360MHz (1.8v) @ 4-4-4-12
4:5 FSB = 360MHz : RAM = 450MHz (2.1v) @ 5-5-5-15

What is better???

I'd used the 4:5 4-4-4-8 @ 2.2v instead out of those two choices.

My 675 modules have PROMO and they're doing 4-4-4-8 @ 2.2v 4:5 just fine. That's in my Pentium D 945 rig though.

But one thing I wonder...
Do I get a performance boost by having the RAM faster than the FSB??
Cause, the RAM cant get information faster than the FSB is feeding... So, when I run the RAM faster than the FSB, then the FSB is only bottlenecking the RAM...
Am I right? Or.....? Whats the good thing about having the RAM faster than the FSB?

Btw:
Changed my ratio back again to 1:1, and changed memory timings, so now I'm running:
1:1 FSB = 365MHz : RAM = 365MHz (2.0v) @ 4-4-4-8
