Help! How to fix stuck/hot pixels?

Hi everyone, I have a Asus monitor that was manufactured in Jan of this year, and It has 1 pixel thats stuck white.

Its very annoying that a 6 month old monitor that only gets a few hours use a day has out lasted my much cheaper dell monitor that i've had for about a year now with no pixel problems at a much much cheaper price.

I am a Cad drafter, and spotting things that are one pixel off is very important to my work, so having a white pixel on your screen while you work in a black backdrop for 8 hours a day is very annoying.

I don't think the monitor is qualfied for an RMA ( i don't have the box anymore, and not sure about the recipt )

Any ideas or tips on how I can fix it? i've tried gently rubbing it, and using some of the flashing software stuff, but that has not seemed to help.

Anything is helpful.
