Appraisal: Creative X-FI ELITE PRO 7.1

Best sound card money could buy circa 2006/2007~. Utilizes same DAC as xonar DX, but with much more software goodies than competitors cards. Vista Driver disk installs everything without an issue in W7 and W8. (At least for me).

Was part of a $400 dollar bundle at launch, but I only have the sound card itself. (No breakout box)

The card shown there looks like an Xtrememusic ;o The SNR newegg listed would also indicate that.
