That looks pretty clean, if it were possible I would try to find a way to hide the ugly LED strip... Otherwise I don't think there is much room for improvement.

You mean the short cable that goes in between the motor and the led pcb?

No, the actual strip that goes around the inside of the fan with all the white and black with resistors.

That's the point I was making, there is no way to improve from that fan that you posted...
