As I stated earlier, I did send Mike at MSI a link to this thread in the hopes that they will realize that what they say are normal temps are in fact truly too high for a caliber card like the Lightning series.

Come to think of it, don't we have a MSI rep on these boards? Maybe I should of talked to him about an RMA instead of dealing with some people over email and phone who barely speak English.
As it stands I don't think I'll be buying from MSI again. I thought the process would be painless, I've heard MSI RMA ain't too bad. All I wanted was a NEW replacement card. I bought a premium card at a premium price, I expect a premium card back. Not a reference card(which they actually offered), not a refund, and not waiting 2 months for a new one.
Now I gotta wait for that check and get a new card and wait for that one to ship out now. GG.
