Best earbuds for $30?

Thread Starter
I've been out of the headphone loop for quite a while now. Been living off my old Zune v2 earbuds tongue.gif Sadly they finally broke the other night.....So i'm not in the market for some new headphones! I just so happen to have a couple gift cards to bestbuy that total $30, so I thought I would get your guy's opinion on what the best earbuds would be for just under or over $30.

At first glance this set seems appealing, but I just don't know! If anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it!

Heh, i loved my zune headphones, till i dropped them on the treadmill and they got ripped in half mad.gif

Anyways I have these monoprice earbuds and apparently if you get some better nibs, they are MUCH better. Google it if you don't believe me
Only downside is how these are mounted in your ear

$6 a pair, can't go wrong

Meelectronics are usually highly recommended for budget users. JVC Marshmellows are good too around the $20 range

haha damn I didn't know they were that pricey. I'm in Afghanistan right now and they sell them at the Bazaars and there are 3 schools of thought about them:

1) They are stolen
2) The are knockoffs
3) They are real but did not make the final production cut

either way they sound damn good and for 100$ I got the beats pro which are the best headphones I have ever owned

i got meelectronics ones and they were DOA. hear a lot of good things about the Marshmallows if you are a basshead.

i say get Skullcandy Titans. They sound really good for their price. i use them for throwaround headphones and when i am working construction to protect my ears (with the komply foam tips i buy for extra. they make a world of difference.)
