This case im working on now has very one main goal. And that is complete silence. The idea is to have the case "soundproof" meaning there wont be any holes for aircooling. Only thing going in or out will be cables (power, dvi, usbs etc) and water. Interior will be covered with polyuretan (some anti sound material).

All components are wcooled, still there are parts that cant rly be placed under waterblocks for obvious reasons, so you have to cool them somehow. The tric is to place another rad inside of the case which will cool the interior air. May sound weird, but it works, have used it my second case.

If u have any questions sugestions or crticism go ahead i apreciate feedback.
Progress: moved to new case, now up and running, still some work to do tho.

Note: I will be working on the cables and hoses, this setup is just for a test how it fits and goes together. Also i will need to add the 240rad to cool the interior before i close the case.

note the ugly surfaces of the aluminium sheets... those plates are from local bakery, basicly for free (they made cakes on those, so thats why are they so messed up, but its not that difficult to fix - will be done before painting)

Its not exactly case progress, but its connected to it.
I needed to cool down my z68-ud7 and fullcover was out of the question, because of the price.
IMPORTANT NOTE: this casemod and most of what i do has very limited budget, dont have the money to buy cool fittings and hoses or blocks etc

So i managed to dismantle the udz nf200 passive cooler and replaced it with small water block. Works like a charm, the heat is significantly lower even on the furthest point of the passives.

Thanks, this ugly beast is the key to making nasty metal sheets look nice... compressor with expansion set, homemade, for spray painting
