Some of us are just harder on cords than others, and the thinner wire in the G400 was a bad design choice in my opinion.

Have considered using a bungee? I direct the mouse cord over an old lamp so the weight of the cord doesn't drag the mouse and it can't get stuck anywhere on the edges of my desk.

Not enough room for a bungee, I've got a joystick where I'd place it, and honestly the cord doesn't get caught or drag on anything.

Bought on 30.08.2012 - granted the g400 is a wonderful mouse and I'm loving it so far, but the cord has started failing, it disconnects for a second or so and picks the connection back up.
It doesn't happen often but it usually happens when you least need it, besides, who would want their mouse to die for 5 seconds while playing a game?

Just glad logitech is sending me a replacement.

This is strange to hear, Ive owned about 5 Logitech mice over the years, all still work to this date, and I have some old mice.

I've owned (still own) the mx518 - it's indestructible - Mx revolution is also very sturdy.
The g400 isn't shabby either, it's just the cord connectivity that's giving it bad rep.

My G400 is still going strong, I have it looped around the back of my monitor, a makeshift bungee kinda, so there is literally never any stress on the cable smile.gif
