Would you suggest a Zowie mouse over a G400 for my needs? I didn't mean to reject your recommendation or anything, I was just mentioning what I read

Steelseries Sensei or the Steelseries Sensei Raw are both great for gaming especially for well... practically every game. Has a lot of buttons, nice mouse, high quality built.

I personally would not buy a zowie unless they allow drivers, I play a wide variety of games using the side buttons for different things in all of the above on my DA. I could be wrong and there may be some way to store multiple side button profiles but I personally could not play the type of games you play (which I do) without easy access to side button profiles via drivers. I didn't mean to sound snippy I was just saying all mice will have some sort of dreaded issue. I use a DA and am nervous every day that today will be the day the mouse wheel breaks lol. If this DA dies in less than a year my next mouse will be the g400 cord problem or not logitechs customer support is the greatest.

Alright thanks. I'm now debating between the g400 and the Corsair M60, leaning more towards the G400. Still open to any suggestions anyone else has though

Get a mouse that is well built. The G400 is not that mouse, unless you really want to go through the (very well known) cord issue every few months -but that's up to you. Personally I wouldn't want to be bothered by such an obviously easy to fix (but they wont) technical oversight.
Not to mention the mouse doesnt track well over 800 DPI. Again, I'd look for something better.

IMO it does not get much better then a Death adder pared with a Qck. If the Death adder works then you don't need a new mouse. If the muck and grime bother you then take the mouse apart and thoroughly clean the plastic shell put on some brand new feat and there you have it good as new .. well almost anyway rolleyes.gif
