nice specification!it all depends on what kind of fans you are going to use if you are going to buy a fan controller
post #3 of 29
Looks interesting.. you have much better fan control if you had one but certainly something you could wait on.

This covers all my watercooling, casing, fans, and computer parts.

Left out the fan controller at the moment as I can get that at a later time.

Paint will be for the side of the case....which will have my custom monikor on it.

LEDs will be to offset the yellow inside the case...to give it a nice glow effect around the components.

Changed the case to a larger one designed for watercooling, and to provide enough room for later expansion.

Monikor

This is what will be painted on the side of the case.

After doing some diagrams in anticipation for my build.

I've finally come up with what I think will be the best for the cooling loop.

Design in Case:

coolingloopdiagram.png

Cooling Loop Diagram:

coolingsystemdiagram.png

Will this do?

I may obviously have to edit it slightly depending on clearances etc.

But this is what I have for now.

Just thought I'd give some expectations of this build.

Uses

Benchmarking - I know it's not the best for benchmarking but it will do for now.
Gaming - Main Reason

CPU Expectations

Hoping to achieve a stable OC of atleast 5.0GHz on the i5 3570K Underwater

GPU Expectations

After reading a lot about this - the 7850 looked like the best OC'er of the year.

Hoping for atleast a stable 1200/5500

However with the Non-Reference Fan and a 200mm Intake directly on it.

Hoping I might be able to push it further.

I hate to burst your bubble but more realistically will be 4.5 or 4.6..remember these ivy's get hot passing multi's of 46 or 47..loaded temps at 5 would be insane amount of heat.thumb.gif

GOOD LUCK to you.. smile.gif

Fair enough.

Will be happy with any OC above 4.2GHz to be honest biggrin.gif
