What would you upgrade in my current system?

NO SSD. Don't ask why. Just no SSD. $100 for 1 second of boot time isn't worth it for now.

So. Yeah, what the title says. I was considering a liquid cooling kit for a while. Then a new motherboard + 2500k. I don't know what would benefit me most right now (again, no SSD). My limit is around $200 for this upgrade.

SSD's aren't only just for boot times.

Have you tried a macbook air and how everything opens smoothly and quickly? Yep. SSD.

If not, go to your local computer store and try a computer with a SSD.

OTHER than the SSD. I'd get a nice case. Improve cooling and upgradability for liquid cooling in the future.

My case is the size of a MINI and cost just about as much as one, why do you think it needs to be upgraded? It even has holes specifically for external reservoirs.

What do you think of a power supply upgrade for future proofing? Like an 850w 80+ gold?

I just... have to...
SSD
btw it's not about boot time at all. It's about loading time in games. Apart from dirt, nothing will help with loading times there. That the idea behind the game, I guess.

The only real downside are you hdd's there. Wouldn't change anything else for now.

SSD, its not just for boot times.. if you play games or do anything on you're computer it increases the speed you can do it at.

Take bf3 for example, on my storage drive it takes about 1 minute to load up levels, with the ssd i am loaded in about 10seconds or so ready to pick my class and play. When I boot my pc I can instantly click any program and it will open, with a normal hard drive even once you are in windows it is slowly loading startup services, and applications which leaves the system less responsive until all are loaded.

I would save up money and buy a hawsell cpu and motherboard when they come out.
