Quality of brands?

Thread Starter
Hey,

I'm kinda new in the water-cooling-world.
I've been surfing around looking for different brands but i'm not sure which one offers high quality products.
I've read posts about koolance being not so good (leaking fittings and pumps), and there have been problems with EKWB in the past...
I also don't know what to believe about this posts...

So my question is, which brand offers high quality products and are easy to buy (shipping to europe)?
Is koolance a good choice, or just a terrible one?

thanks in advance wink.gif

I would say that XSPC are the best over all brand at the minute. Plus they offer great value kits. The tubing is a little crappy but its usable.

Yep I would also say expc they my full loop is there stuff, tubing is fine, clouds up but it's perfectly fine,
I am using their fans (cheap and work great) there rasa CPU block, also about to install there raystorm universal gpu block and a ex360 to go with me rs240,

They make great quality stuff, I had to return my original pump to them the 750 bay res one and they were great took a vid of I sent that to them and they sent me a new one, didn't even have to return mine, took a few days at most to orginse,

So great service, great products, competitive prices.... I can't revoked others as I haven't tried them but these guys make some great stuff,

Koolance offers excellent QDC and VGA water blocks, their CPU block is a little restrictive for my tastes. Other's have already covered the best brands, I can't recommend EK's nickel plated blocks, however their reservoirs are excellent. As for pumps there's the Laing D5 and Laing DDC 3.25 which are re-branded under lots of manufacturers like Swiftech and Koolance just to name a few, I suggest one with a tach wire!

They fixed the Nickel Plated problem since 2 month...
I had nickel plated WB since my first Watercooling loop (all WB from EK), and i never had any kind of problem.

All brands have their own pro's and con's tbh. But it would be cool if people could stop spitting on EKWB, the market is huge, and i think there is no place for spit on one. EK nickel problem is GONE. People need to understand that...

If i've one advice, it's read the review of every block you have in mind, look at curves resistances/flow rate and others things.
