GTX 670 Windforce/GTX 670 FTW + Accelero Extreme III/GTX 680 Windforce?

Thread Starter
Out of these 3 picks what would you guys say is the best overclocker?

Can the GTX 680 get higher clocks than the 670? I've seen 1350 for 670 and 1300 (and 1 1400) for the 680s.

Does the Accelero Extreme III even fit on the GTX 670 FTW (or Windforce maybe)?

Edit:

GTX 680 Windforce

Which of these options would have the best overclocking/cooling potential?

the FTW is one of the highest binned chips so i would have to imagine you wouldnt be sorry getting one of those, just make sure you dont get the FTW LE. If the accelero III fits a 680, i think it will fit the 670 FTW as well since its on a 680 PCB

The 670 ftw uses the 680s pcb so if the accelero iii extreme can go on a reference gtx 680 it should be able to fit the 670 ftw

Does the 670 FTW have a stacked power socket?

GTX 680* (w/o stacked power socket), 670* (w/o stacked power socket), 660Ti, 580, 570, 560Ti, 560 SE, 560, 550Ti, 480, 460 SE

Just go for the FTW. My card boost too nearly 1200mhz with an 1189mhz boost clock. Also, the 680 really isn't worth the extra 100 bucks in the same way the 6970 wasn't worth the extra 75.

EDIT: And yes, it does have a stacked power socket.

Factory overclocked to 680 speeds. Boost clocks do it automatically. I've boosted to over 1300mhz if I want to overclock but I'm demolishing everything anyway.

Also, I idle at 30c and have never gone over low 70s (70-74c) even playing Battlefield 3 and Crysis 2.

Stock yes, but not their non-reference models.
