Issue opening .php files in OSX

Thread Starter
Hello all,

I'm working on getting Wordpress installed on a website. I'm having an issue, though. The Setup_config.php file is opening in Safari as a file (thus, presenting the code) rather than executing the code.

Also, when I try opening it in Chrome, it's downloading it as a file.

Anyone have any advice? Very frustrating -_-

^ that plus have you set your httpd.conf to recognise PHP extensions, MIME types and specified the PHP modules (mod_php.so IIRC)? Else even with PHP installed, Apache will just server the content as plain text rather than calling the PHP run time environment.
