I would suggest the TF300
you can get a keyboard which is made by asus for it, and the total price would be maybe 500 or so?
Sure the iPad 3 has a very nice screen, but I feel like apple is getting kinda mean and greedy, so I would rather choose to not support them
I've heard from others that iOS is pretty good and very stable, and I am sure it is.
I've bought the tf300 to be intended for college also, but I haven't started classes yet, so I have yet to see how well it will work, but hopefully it will work well.
From what I've experienced with my tf300, is that it is rather buggy, and confusing at times, but it could just be ICS
So I guess if you want a more expensive but problem free and lazy tablet go with an iPad?
But if you're willing to be more customizeable and controlling and willing to learn more about your tablet and stuff, you should go with an Android
if the tf300 is out of your price range with the keyboard, you could get the tf100
There isn't all that big of a difference between the two besides being much thinner and a better processor.
Although I should say, the tf300 is so thin to the point that it is a little scary, as it seems like it can snap in half.
also, you could use a micro sd card in the tf300, and not in the ipad
so you could essentially double, triple, or even quadruple your storage space by using a 32 or 64gb micro sd.
I also find that its easier to organize files with a computer for androids because of how they work, and you shouldnt need any other programs like itunes.
