Wanted:
WTB: AGP video card or 939 motherboard / PCIe card (cheap)

Will Ship To: Anywhere

Neighbor of mine needs an AGP video card. I'm paying for her upgrades (little old lady) out of my pocket. Please, just something that'll work with Windows 7, just for basic Aero use. It's going to be used for Facebook and thats it.

Would like the cheapest price obviously, as this isn't my computer. tongue.gif

EDIT:
I would also accept any 939 motherboard as well for really cheap (even an OEM), plus a PCIe GPU of any flavor (cheap). As I now have a spare 939 Athlon64 3400+.

Got a Geforece 2 Ultra collecting dust, I don't even know if it works, it seemed that it did when I just used windows 7 without transparency. 64MB ram is the most important thing when it comes down to running Windows 7 on a low-end/outdated GPU. I'd let go of the card if you pay for the priority shipping.

I've already got a GeForce 4 MMX 440 in it right now. Problem is, there's no drivers for any GPU's that old for Vista or 7. Which they BOUGHT Windows 7 for it, without consulting me first. doh.gif

So yeah, I need a GeForce 6 or higher, or an HD3xxx series in AGP flavor. frown.gif Without a driver, the video card is kind of worthless, even on facebook.

It is 128 mb agp used 2 years.
I have not been able to test it recently as I'm out of agp.
I'll let you decide if it could work.

If it works, then yeah that'll work. Anything GeForce 6200 or higher or HD2xxx series or higher is supported by Windows 7.

Windows 7 mate. wink.gif Neither of those will work, lol.

I would also accept any 939 motherboard as well for really cheap (even an OEM), plus a PCIe GPU of any flavor (cheap). As I now have a spare 939 Athlon64 3400+.

I have an ECS socket 939 board that works, its not pretty but it runs fine. Its a K8T890-A or something like that, I'd have to go look (just the board I lost the I/O plate long ago). Also have an ATi X800XL PCI-E, I think it only works in 32 bit windows 7 though. Yours for the price of shipping if you want them, heck I'll even throw in an Athlon XP 3500+.
