I want to cool my CPU.I want to overclock my CPU.I want to BEAT RECORDS!So, the current record is 8.8 GHZ on a FX 8100?Lets beat it.So, first things first, what CPU?I have a little while, lets ay mid next year at the latest.Should I go with the FX8100?i think not.I betcha the record holder's 8100 was barley stable, I probobly couldnt push it to 9 GHz.I am thinking piledriver, they will probobly be able to hit that vital extra 200 MHz.2nd, board.I am not a fan of Asus, actually, the oppisite. But, those Asus ROG boards look like some extreme overclocking boards.3rd, ram.I think I will use the same timings and Ram as the current record holder, A Data 4 GB.Last, the most important part, cooling. This is the part were I am on a $600 budget.I think once you are into liquid nitrogen, its more about CPU Stability than about the cooling.Like, you might worry between H100 and NHD14, but sience almost all LN2 things give great cooling, who cares, really. What is a Rotary phase change/Phase change cooled system? How will it compare to a LN2 system?

If you're serious about this then LN2 is the way to go, phase change and TECs are very expensive ways to get high stable clocks, not for speed runs.
Be careful though as you can easily brick a mobo or CPU if you make a mistake.
Also if PD has a higher max clock then you can bet other record setters will be going past 8.8 as well, something to keep in mind.
I also find it hilarious that your sig says not to buy Asus mobos and you're considering a top of the line one.

Hilarius, I know. BUT,if you can find me a better overclocker of a board, please do, I hate Asus. So, LN2, Piledriver, Asus ROG, A Data 2x2 GB?

But yeah LN2 and other exotic cooling options are the way to go for world records, however the guys who hold them have a boat load of experience, I'm doubtful if you're new to the scene you'd be able to beat them, they take it right to the limit of what the CPU can handle, and then go a bit further.
Good luck regardless.
