670 SLI - Second Card Running Very Hot!

So I recently changed gear to 2x Palit 670 SLI, no over clocks as yet because temps are so high.

I just wanted some advice as to what I should do with my temps, I would like to OC but I don't think it will be a option until my colling is fixed.
I am running them in a Switch 810 case, with 10 case fans to maximise airflow.

GPU 1: 36 deg at load
GPU 2: 80 Deg at load.

I was originally going to watercool this build, but decided against it because of costs. Would any after market coolers work well in SLI? or should I just bite the bullet and WC again?

Sounds like the cooler isn't mounted properly? Is there any restrictions to its cooling fan?

Test temps of both cards individually, if one of them gets significantly hotter - the cooler isn't set properly.

Holy cow, I was expecting a difference when coming in here, but not one to that degree....no pun intended.

As Splinterize asked, can you take photos of the setup? In some cases it might be possible for one card to be dumping its heat into the other due to fan configuration.

yeah a pic would definitely help mate. I have 2 570s and they run hotter than the 600 series cards and I am idleing at 43deg on the top card and 36deg on the bottom card. Both are overclocked to 900 core 1800 shader and 2000 memory.

so your running 10 case fans? 2x front, 2xHDD cage, 3x top, 1x rear that is 8?
