I have 6970s in Crossfire and usually when they get to around 70 degrees they crash. My current setup is:
2 Gigabyte 6970s
i5-2500k Sandy Bridge
Seasonic Gold 850W
I have 3 monitors, all 1080p. This usually only gets to that temperature when I'm gaming. I also don't game on all 3 monitors, usually I have the game on one monitor, a video on another and the other for just other random stuff like an instant messenger and the programs I use to measure temps. This has been happening for a while now. I don't think it's a problem with the graphics cards because it started happening pretty early when I got them. It didn't start right away because when I got them it was Winter and it was absolutely freezing. Could it be because my PSU is 80+ Gold? Or could it be because I'm using an extension cable? I can't really do anything if the extension cable is the problem as I'm using every single outlet on it.
