Yes yes, and Firefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer too, because we can download Utorrent though them. Even Windows, OSX and Linux should pay up, because they allow us to run torrent applications.

I hope you realise that everytime the MPAA/RIAA successfully sue someone, 0% of that money goes back to the artist.

I don't consider that a valid reason for hating on the media industry. The artist is to blame for the artist not getting that money. The artists sign contracts that specify what they get and what the label gets. If they didn't agree to the label making money in return for promoting their music and chasing down people who are infringing their copyright, they wouldn't have signed the contract. Such activities are entirely ethical, although the way that they are carried out is questionably so.

On topic: Meh. uTorrent has changed a lot over the last few years, and is no longer the simple client it used to be. I might try the official client again, or perhaps venture out into the world of third party clients (other than Transmission).

I'm using the windows version of Deluge. It's pretty nice, has a WebUI, very minimalist.

C'mon people, learn the rules.
The rule is to keep it quiet. The more it's talked about, the more people will use it. And the more people use it, the more media attention it gets. The more media attention it gets, the faster it starts turning into what torrents, and download sites have turned into. Which means unwanted attention by you best friends at the FBI, MPAA and RIAA and we have another megaupload incident, another bill such as SOPA specifically for it, or other government agencies trying to take it down like they want to do with torrents.
There's a reason for the rule. See above.

Um it cost money that's enough to keep 90% people from using it, plus there is a learning curve. Small learning curve but people are lazy.

Besides it's just silly to think you can keep something on the internet secret.

Just installed the latest uTorrent and all there is are some adds during installation and optional featured tab with software links. If you decide not to install the Featured tab it is exactly the same as it was. You guys are way overreacting.

And why should uTorrent get sued for money? just cus they provide a program to utilize the protocol does not mean they support pirating.
Its not like they are handling anything other than the ability to connect and manage what you have.
