Get which ever is cheapest. They are virtually the same.

All others are pretty much a step below these, but imo its not worth spending $45 for a extra 2c, if you really want better performance buy the best ones or just simply get the hyper 212+ and be done with it.

agreed. Hyper212+. save money and still get the performance you want. you wont be disappointed.

is there any better fan than the Cooler Master 212 EVO? budget of 60$ at the top.

the 212 is a cooler, not a fan, and yes there are dozens of better choices than the 212 under 60$

there may be better choices, but for the price you'll pay and benefit it doesnt really make much sense. payin for a cooler that is 20 dollars more and will only be a difference of 5 degrees. I think i would save those 20 and instead buy a better fan or spend those dollars on something else. Make sure that the amount you pay is worth the performance you'll be getting. That s the only reason why the 212+/evo is preferred amongst many over other coolers.
BTW a corsair h60 is like 49.99 on newegg right now (after rebate of course). 64.99 regular price. You want really good coolings, go with water cooling smile.gif.

sure it depends on what you want. i'd rather spend a few bucks more for better temps and less noise though.
i also have to mention that the 212 is not even that cheap over here in europe compared to a lot of Scythe + Thermalright Coolers!

We need to keep in mind this is an international forum. Prices vary dramatically depending where you are located.
For example here in UK we can get Thermalright Silver Arrow SB-E for £44.30 before tax
Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO is £22.21
Noctua NH-D14-2011 is £60.82
Alpenföhn K2 (Logisys ASSASSIN) is £49.99

exactly. you can get a Thermalright True Spirit 120 for 23€, a Thermalright HR-02 Macho for 32€, while the 212 Evo is around 27€. So the 212 is obviously not THAT popular over here. Another example is the NZXT Havik 140 wich is pretty cheap in the US cost 10€ more than a TR Silver Arrow (55€) over here.

I think most of the people when they mention their budget, relate it to an international coin like the dollar (usa). and the best site is newegg. so I usually go by newegg even though I'm from another country smile.gif
