I keep everything in FLAC on my server. I use serviio to stream it out all my devices at home. It has a nice device detection and streams out to foobar in flac, and mp3 to Boxee. Serviio also has a nice remote we binterface I use to watch movies on my phone. I use Amazon Cloud to sync/stream music to my phone.

Though my music library is getting ridiculously massive, Amazon says I have almost 40K songs and climbing......

Anyway, Xeb converts his FLAC stuff into a worse audio format so any opinions he has are null

There is a reason as to why I do it. Flac is well liked on a lot of things and having a universal, yet high quality format works better for my purposes.

I use WMP. Found a plugin online that adds FLAC functionality and it works really nice. I believe I aso have a bit match playback enabled through creatives software. I used Foobar2k for a while but the interface was a killer for me. I'm sure it coud of been tweeked but never took the time. I've gone between the two but can't tell the difference.
