hmmm I just saw this when surfing on tiger.. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...&sku=S203-2012 It has basically the same specs as the other samsung mentioned my OpTioN and 50$ cheaper. One is a 204BW and the other 205BW, wonder whats the difference?

The 205BW is fantastic (I'm using one now). I have said it before, and will say it again: OnRebate.com is far from reliable. I have recieved less than half of my applied-for rebates.

Side-Note: I got my 205BW at OfficeMax for $20 cheaper than NewEgg, but that was 2 or 3 months ago. The prices have leveled out now.

Check the reviews on the Sceptre. The price is quite nice, as are the specs.

This LCD is pretty sweet mate..Would serve you well : http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/p...9&sku=320-5123

Either of these will be very good. I personally suggest the dell. There's nothing wrong with dells.

I actually have heard that the 205BW and E207WFP use the same panel.

Can anyone else recommend any other LCDs suitable for gaming?
Why not?

Why, you got something against Dell LCD's? They are amazing..and are actually some of the best LCD's out there...next to Apple's..LOL..

I play BF2 daily on my 2407wfp...and, it's f'in amazing..colors are perfect, it's amazingly bright...

Yep, the only monitor I would say is better than a samsung is ViewSonic, or MAYBE NEC. But otherwise, Dell & Samsung are the way to go.

Yo! But what about if i want to play games in not native resolution? For example SAMSUNG 204BW native res is - 1680 x 1050 but will i'll be able to play BF2 in that res or i should switch it to 1024-whatever... ? And how is picture quality on lower resolutions?

I'm gonna place another vote for Samsung. AMAZING monitor, especially considering the price.

I recomend NOT getting a viewsonic due to crappy Customer Service and I spent 300+ on my monitor and 3 months later it crapped out and they sent me a refurbished one. I don't like them now. I plan on switching to a BenQ possibly or something with GOOD recomendations! Just some thought
