Recommend me a 750w modular PSU

Thread Starter
I was looking at OCZ ZT 750w but it seems it's nowhere in stock in the UK and I need one ASAP as my system is unusable with my current one.

I'd prefer not to spend more than £100 and fully modular would be nice although not a must.

Is this one any good: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/750w-ocz-ocz750fty-uk-fatal1ty-series-85-eff-80plus-135mm-fan-psu

Your current PSU should be plenty for the hardware in your sig rig, how exactly is it making your system unstable and how are you sure it's the PSU?

I agree with the seasonic x750 or the ax750. They are great.

I'm not really sure but it seems like the only logical explanation of the problems I have (http://www.overclock.net/t/1293125/serious-problem-with-a-new-build-display-freezing). When I put my specs into PSU calculator it recommends me 560w and 650w with 15% capacitor aging so it seems possible.

Thanks. These look good, but just slightly above my budget as I wasn't planning on getting a new PSU in the first place. What about the OCZ I posted or a Corsair TX750 M?

That's not really a PSU issue, if you were overdrawing your PSU it would just shut down. It really looks like some sort of driver or other hardware issue. Also most PSU calculators are terrible, a good 550 watt PSU such as yours can run any single GPU/CPU configuration on the market including overclocks with room to spare.

NZXT HALE82 750 £88.50 Inc VAT
NZXT HALE90 750 £110.10 Inc VAT

HALE90 is over budget but worth it, I'd take it over the AX750/X760. Speaking of which, the AX750 is £130 Inc VAT and not superior to the HALE90 (and the X 760 itself is £144)

The Highpower made OCZ750FTY isn't a bad unit, but you can do better, like the above PSU's. I haven't looked at EU/UK PSU's in a while, there could be better deals out there.

Corsair HX750. Modular and just overall reliability is one of Corsair's selling points.
