the pump should have already 1/2" barbs so yes 3/8 fittings and clamp the tubing

on that link you posted > if you scroll down to the bottom it has selection fitting that will already calculate size for you.

3/8" barb for 3/8" tubing is the one you want

I see you already have an EK reservoir, so in terms of going with 2x pumps (perhaps putting the card before the horse), the MCP35X2 has a very small footprint and overall size if that matters to you.
However, it doesn't have to be the 35X as you can use two other DDC pumps (i.e. Mcp350 and MCP355) which cost less (a member sells the MCP350 for $35USD/each!) and two of those with a quality dual-DDC top (serial, say XSPC, so another $40) would come out to $110USD for a fantastic dual-pump setup. If you were to grab the MCP35X2 Heatsink, which works with all DDC pumps, yours should have a long, happy low-temp life. And God-Forbid one should die, you have two! That means redundancy, so your loop will continue on just fine.

i dont have any thing for water cooling gear of has yet i just wanted get you advise on whether using a single pump or dual pump for the loop i mentioned above.

so far what i can tell people are saying that 1 d5 mcp 655 pump should be enough, i was thinking of getting Bitspower D5/MCP655 Mod Top ,single and dual pump tops and mod.

money is of no concern i just want the best and if i want add more blokes i could do future proofing i guess.

but i was struggling with compression fittings, pump barbs fittings and tubing diameters im new to this and am still learning and i didn't no what 3/8/ 1/2 where in mm etc.

so what i have found out is that the Swiftech MCP655 Special Edition 12 VDC Pump With Speed Controller has g1/4 threading meaning i could use what ever compression fitting i wanted.

i also found out the formula thermal fusion barbs are 3/8 10mm, so the tubing is going to be 3/8 id but shall i use 5/8 od tubing whats going to be best and what compression fittings shall i get for the pump.

Ironically, I just got a second MCP35X today (will be getting the white Swiftech MCP35X2 housing to join the two), so I guess I can retract what I said about not needing two pumps. I got a d*mn good deal and couldn't refuse, but for me I am looking more for redundancy (and being able to run both pumps at like 30% instead of one at 50% for less heat and longer lives) than extra performance.

So, if you can afford it or get a good deal, get that second pump! If nothing else, it will make you feel all warm-n-fuzzy

im sticking with 1 pump for now the mcp655 but all i need is the pump without he housing going to get the bitspower mode hosuing, and the bitspower d5 top.

i understand what you are saying about two mcp35x pumps but i dont think im going to have the space for two pumps in the bottom chamber cz of the dual rads .

also can some one tell me, that the d5 pump itself has many braned names and different names but are thier any difference in the pump itself, or are the pumps all the same just different brand names.

what does this mean e.g mcp665, and vpp655?

its without he housing but what does the vpp655 stand for and are there any difference in between mcp 655 pumpor are they basically the same pump.
