Leaving the H60. Which cooler should I pick?

So after re-seating my H60 uncountable times, reapplying TIM at least 10 times, and using the cooler itself for about 6 months, I think it's time to leave it behind. I have a 2500k and my temps on idle would go from 45 to 50C and on load they got even to 70C with case temps of 34C, that is very sad frown.gif

But now, after reading multiple reviews, forums, and spending hours watching youtube comparison videos, I'm still not sure which way to go on my next cooler.

The fact is that Corsair made me so unhappy that I'm not confident to go with something like the H80 or the H100 because I fear they would not seat well and would suck for me as the H60 sucked. I'm almost sure that the way to not spend much on my next cooler would be getting a Frio, from Thermaltake, or the Kuhler 620, from Antec. But I'm really not sure.
I've read a lot of reviews of the NH-D14 and the NZXT Havik 140 also, and still considering these ones as well...

I'm looking for a cooler that will provide me lower temps than the H60 used to (although my H60 temps were not equal as the reviews I've read and watched before buying), and I do not mind if it is going to be water or air. So Which one would you guys suggest?

I live in Brazil, and coolers are getting really expensive here now that the dollar is way more expensive than the real (brazilian currency), so cost benefits would count as well.

I have a few prices listed, so you can take a look (converted to USD):

H100 - Cheapest deal for 170U$
Thermaltake Frio - Cheapest deal for 80U$
NH-D14 - Cheapest deal for 120$
NZXT Havik - Cheapest deal for U$100

Thanks in advance!

$135 for a D14? damn. they are $85 here. Honestly, the D14 is a beast. I would go with that. I wouldn't keep investing into contained water cooling

Have you looked at the, Thermalright Silver Arrow ? ... it is a damn good cooler and looks way better than the D14 (my opinion) ... It is in the top 5 of air coolers as far as I know ... If I remember correctly it even beats the D14 by a few degrees C (but I wouldn't trust my memory)

Here is the Silver Arrow in my Rig

Before going into my Rig

For a cheaper cooler if you don't plan to OC to heaven ... You should look at the Coolermaster 212+ or the 212 evo ... brilliant "little" coolers

The Antec 620 should be better than the H60 in terms of cooling and it has longer more flexible tubes, that is if you prefer the clean look of WC blocks

Damn, the Silver Arrow looks really nice..

The problem is that I could not find it on any brazilian stores :/ so I guess that is out of the way for me.

I've updated my signature rig but it did not reflect here yet, so for the ones reading this, I'll be cooling a 2500k, and not a Q9550 smile.gif

NH-D14 is great for performance and nice looking. If you don't mind it blocking half of your motherboard. I'd say go for the D14 unless if you want a cleaner looking system which would definitely make the H100 the choice to go. Honestly, it isn't worth the $120 you spend if you were here, so I wouldn't justify $170 for it.

People have been saying that some brand named phanteks actually has best cooling performance for an air cooler, not sure which model though...
