Samsung 830, Crucial M4, Intel 330. Those three are probably going to be the most recommended simply because they're reliable, I've had no issues with my Vertex 4 or Force 3 however.

Corsair SSDs are junk. You can get a much better SSD for the price you pay for those Corsair SSDs.

Crucial M4 is probably the most recommended I have seen (and purchased) just because they are trouble-fee, inexpensive, and perform well

Wrong..not all. Corsair Performance Pro (Marvell) is basically a top 3 SSD. Sandforce Corsair aren't as good though.
Samsung 830 is usually best bang for buck imo. Crucial M4 is also very cheap. They go on sale a lot. Vertex 4 is reasonable as well, good sales. Plextor M5 Pro if you want best of best...also might want to check out the new Corsair Neutron Series. Plextor M3 Pro is also very nice.

256GB Samsung 830 costs $20 more than same size M4. Worth it in my opinion as the 830 is faster and equally as reliable. I upgraded from a OCZ Solid 3 and performance difference is noticeable
For comparison's sake
