u2410, how good it is?

I already have this monitor, brought it 320$ canadian used. So how good this is VS korean IPS 27, and other monitors. I am assuming this is much better than the gaming TN monitors. I am using this monitor for gamiing, web browsing and etc. And I must say, I really like it. Is the fact it is LCD with no LED backlight affect much? And how does this H-IPS panel compare to P-IPS?

i havent used it yet, but from what i've read, it is one of the best monitors for its price. the LED backlighting is overall better, but for games movies etc, basically things that move on your panel.and i dont know about the panel comparison smile.gif

U2410 is on a much lower level compared to the koreans. U2412M is to small for a computer monitor. The koreans have S-IPS panels (the same as Apple Cinema Display).

For gaming 16:9 is always a better choice.

Obviously you are a huge 16:9 advocate but the Dell one is still better in every way except for resolution and possibly aspect ratio depending on what you prefer. It's got a better stand, better panel (the Korean ones are always a gamble...), better backlighting, better build quality, etc.
