And should I do it from breadboard? Just ATX power connecters and motherboard? and do that? I just dont want to mess anything up anymore than it is, if that's even possible... So sad right now lol Spent around $1600 for this setup..
And if not too much of a hassle could you give a quick step by step? As of right now my motherboard is out of case, nothing plugged in. Not CMOS battery, just making sure that crap is cleared. But yea, tell me which bios version to name that, because I never was able to successfully update to most recent bios. And then tell me what to do after that, this is all new to me; your help is very much appreciated man.
ok then ,use that bios version which is stable for u (0806 i guess ) and rename it to ERALL.ROM and copy it to a pen-drive ( make sure pen-drive is formatted to fat32 ) and use bios flashback to flash your bios
Oh and since I won't have visual feedback, after the bios files are loaded and the blue light goes off; I power up the computer then what, how do I tell when its finished etc? I don't want to interrupt anything and screw it up, again this is all new to me so please let me know. Thanks a lot man, so far you're pointing us to a closer direction to anything we've found so far.
Ok, I'll try the 0806 first, and if that doesn't work out I might as well give the 1203 a shot that way. But yea need to know about the lack of seeing what's going on. Not sure how it all works. Thanks again.
I renamed the 0806 bios to ERALL.ROM, formatted FAT32, no luck. Went solid blue light. Any chance it could have anything to do with the USB stick I'm using? Even though I have had the firmware flashback go through from flashing blue light to stop. But never a bios boot afterwards.
