here are my specs

CPU:
i5-2320

PSU:
FSP hexa500 -500w

my budget is about $140 or about P6,000 in Philippines currency

Thanks in advance

Probably something like the Radeon HD 7770. If you get one with good cooling you'll be able to overclock it and get decent performance.

However make sure your PSU can push it.

A GTX 460. It can run most games at max, like battlefield, skyrim, yadda yadda... Or you could get an older card that is a lot stronger (GTX 280) but it likes eating more power

one of my friend said i should get a GTX 550ti and is that better than hd 7770?(I'm currently leaning towards hd7770 cuz it only uses a little bit of power

It is kind of hard to recommend you a card at such a low budget since you live in the Philippines and we don't know where you will be shopping.

just base the recommendation on the international market with a budget of $140, the prices are not that different anyway(maybe $5~$10, but i can live with that)

the reason i got a low budget on the GPU is cuz i got greedy in buying a cpu and the existence of GPU slipped my mind, LOL.
well at least i'm planning to use my cpu longer than my gpu anyway, so more or less in the right track

I'd recommend getting an HD 6870. It should be within your price range and will give you a decent amount of power.
If that's too expensive, your next best bet would be an HD 7770 or HD 6850 for AMD, or a GTX 460 for Nvidia.

HD 6870 used, 6850 new, 460 GTX used/new

Right now the best card you can buy new at that price point is a 7770, period. Now if you start looking at the used market the whole thing opens up far wider than what we could recommend.
