The good news is with this issue I was able to clock some temps differences between the fan and the water cooling block.
After a good 2hr+ gaming session:
Stock Fan - 63c \ 145f
Watercooling - 45c \ 113f
Never thought water cooling made THAT big of a temp drop. Glad I know...and knowing is half the battle....taking the plastic pieces of the thermal pads apprently is the other half.
